What is a deposit and why is it required?

The deposit at Kaizen Rent is a temporary hold on funds in your account, excluding the time during which the car is in use. It protects you from possible costs relating to the car, such as a lack of fuel or damage upon return. The deposit is not charged; it is simply blocked and returned a few days after the rental. However, it can be reduced (by up to PLN 1) when you purchase the Comfort+ package. This is a standard practice that ensures security for both parties.

What is the deposit amount for renting a car?

The standard deposit varies by car class and is usually between PLN 2,000 and PLN 8,000, depending on the vehicle you choose.

 You can lower your deposit by selecting one of our packages:

•  Comfort Package – deposit reduced to PLN 500
•  Comfort+ Package – deposit reduced to just PLN 1

How do I book a vehicle with Kaizen Rent, the car rental company?

Booking your car with Kaizen Rent is easy:

What is the cost of renting a car?

At Kaizen Rent, car rental prices start from just PLN 38 per day. The total cost depends on how long you need the car, which model you choose, the season, and any extras like safety features or travel abroad. Every reservation is tailored to fit your needs.

Is it possible to take a rental car on a trip abroad?

Planning a trip outside Poland with a Kaizen Rent car? Just remember to get the right travel permit and check which countries it covers before you go.

Zone I covers countries like Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, the Netherlands, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Germany, Norway, Lithuania, Latvia, Slovakia, Switzerland, Sweden, and Italy. The fee for a travel permit to these countries is PLN 299.
Zone II includes Croatia, Slovenia, and Hungary. If you’re travelling to these countries, you’ll need to rent an R or R Automat class vehicle (9-seater bus). The permit fee for these destinations is PLN 399 for your entire rental.
Please remember, travel to some EU countries—such as Bulgaria, Cyprus, Greece, Spain, Ireland, Malta, and Portugal—is not allowed with our rental cars.

Can I rent a car if I have a foreign driving licence?

Yes, you can rent a car with a foreign driving licence—just keep in mind that a few simple rules apply:
1. Citizens of EU/EEA (European Economic Area) countries:
If you have a valid driving licence from an EU or EEA country and Great Britain, you can easily rent a car in Poland. We may just need to see your passport or ID card to confirm your identity.
2. Citizens of countries outside the EU/EEA:
Please bring your original national driving licence and IDP (International Driving Permit) when picking up your car—copies or electronic versions aren’t accepted.
Your national driving licence needs to be valid for at least 6 months.

What documents are required to rent a car?

To rent a car from Kaizen Rent, you will need to present the following documents:

1. Valid identity document (e.g., passport or national ID card).
2. Valid driving licence:

• For EU/EEA citizens: A national driving licence is sufficient.
• For non-EU/EEA citizens: An International Driving Permit (IDP) is required in addition to your national driving licence.

Yes, you can rent a car from Kaizen Rent for just one day — the minimum rental period is 24 hours. You're also free to return the car earlier, even after just a few hours, but the charge will still apply for the full day.

Yes, at Kaizen Rent you can rent a car for a period of 1 to 24 months. It is a flexible alternative to leasing or purchasing – without committing large amounts of money and without the need for bank financing. The offer is tailored to the individual needs of the company. 

Do the cars have a mileage limit?

No, Kaizen Rent does not impose any mileage limits — you can drive as much as you need without worrying about extra charges for distance. These guidelines are for rentals up to 30 days. If you need a car for longer, just ask us about mileage limits and we’ll be happy to help.
